Beneficial microbes

Bio SI

Feed the soil. Wake up the biology.

Rebuild. Restore. Renew. Bio S.I. Technology has been producing soil-derived microbial inoculants for more than twenty years. By re-introducing a diverse consortium of beneficial microorganisms, Bio S.I. restores the complex soil ecosystem that tillage and heavy chemical use wear down — converting residue to humus, freeing tied-up nutrients, and helping every dollar of fertilizer work harder.

01

Rebuild biology

Adds a diverse community of soil-derived microbes back into a depleted profile.

02

Restore nutrients

Boosts nitrogen fixation, phosphorus availability, and disassociates salts to free nutrients.

03

Renew soil structure

Builds humus and carbon, improves water penetration and retention, reduces crusting.

  • 1

Not crop-specific — use it on corn, soybeans, small grains, forages, and specialty crops.

  • 2

Works as a supplement to your fertility program, not a replacement: it releases nutrients the plant otherwise can't reach.

  • 3

OMRI listed and approved for organic input use; re-apply after a fungicide pass to restore the microbial population.

  • 4

How it works

Beneficial microbes drive soil fertility and plant growth, but tillage and excess chemistry have knocked back the natural population — leaving degraded, eroded soils that ask more of every input. Bio S.I. cultivates specific microbes that improve soil structure, recycle nutrients, and hold water. Those microbes work symbiotically with the crop, trading plant-root exudates for nutrients they unlock in return. The result: better root systems, less stress, and more efficient use of the fertilizer and water you already apply.

Agricultural Formula

A liquid soil inoculant containing a broad range of naturally occurring, soil-derived microbes. It rebuilds soil health, converts organic matter into humus, and unlocks nutrients otherwise unavailable to the plant. Not crop-specific — apply on any acre to improve rooting, reduce stress, and sharpen nutrient and water use. Best paired with a carbon/compost food source for the microbes.

  • Increases biological diversity in the soil
  • Increases nitrogen fixation and phosphorus availability
  • Fertilizer optimization and nutrient use efficiency
  • Improves stress tolerance and soil resilience
  • Re-introduces beneficial microbes to soil after fumigation

SD 25 — residue management

Built for the corn stalks and stubble left after harvest. SD 25's microbial consortium converts crop residue into carbon and humus, releasing the nutrients locked in that residue and improving water holding in the profile. Recycling residue nutrients trims next year's input bill while restoring tilth.

  • Breaks down excess crop residue and stubble
  • Converts residue to carbon and rebuilds humus levels
  • Releases tied-up nutrients and improves availability
  • Improves germination and plant establishment

Manure management

Treat pits, lagoons, and compost with SD 25 to break down and suspend solids, even out the by-product, and get more nutrient value out of every load hauled. Typical use is 1 gallon per 30,000 gallons of liquid manure, or 1–2 oz per ton of compost or dry manure — we'll tailor a rate to your setup.

  • Breaks down and suspends solids
  • More consistent product throughout the pit
  • Increases nutrient availability
  • Reduces odor
